The PS2 / PS3 AV Cable is a black composite audio and video cable that connects a PS2 or PS3 console to a TV or monitor with AV inputs. One end has the PlayStation multi-AV plug, with a ferrite block near the connector, and the other end splits into three RCA plugs: yellow for video, and red and white for right and left audio. It carries composite video, not HDMI, so the TV needs red, white and yellow composite inputs, or an RCA-to-HDMI converter. This is a new accessory.
